This month at Club Orange we are learning about honor, which is letting others know you see how valuable they really are.

The month's memory verse is Romans 12:10  - Be devoted to one another in brotherly love.  Honor one another above yourself."

This week we learned to honor others by giving them a chance.  All kids have felt like they are too little to do something, and it means the world to them when they are given a chance.  We learned about how God gave a little shepherd boy a chance, even though no one else thought he had much value.  This boy proved himself by killing a giant, and eventually became Israel's greatest king, King David.

Spend some time investing in your kids' spiritual lives by using the Parent cues to initiate conversation with them.

This month at Club Orange we're learning about courage, which is being brave enough to do what's right.

This week we learned that "I can be brave even when others aren't."

After God used Moses to lead the Israelites through the Red Sea, they traveled through the desert to reach Canaan, the land that God had promised to give them.  However, when Moses sent 12 of the men to scout out the land and bring back a report, 10 of the 12 reported that the people who inhabited the land were giants and that it would be impossible for the Israelites to take the land.  Only Joshua and Caleb were brave enough to believe that they could take the land because God was with them.

Use the Parent Cues to help you initiate spiritual conversations with your kids this week.
